The Assistant Director Football Human Performance is responsible for teaching strength and conditioning skills, strategies and techniques to football’s student athletes by evaluating individual athletes and placing them in programs designed to address identified strength and conditioning needs.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years’ strength and conditioning experience.
• None
• Valid strength and conditioning accreditation under NCAA guidelines.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Must be insurable under the university motor vehicle requirements.
• None
• Knowledge of teaching methods.
• Knowledge of a variety of sports.
• Knowledge of basic counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of NCAA guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.
• The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
