The Auburn University at Montgomery Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented professional for the role of Assistant Director of Athletic Communications position. As a part of the job responsibilities associated with this position, knowledge of rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA and Gulf South Conference should be maintained, reviewed and practiced to ensure compliance relative to those applicable duties.
The candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution. One (1) year of related experience in college athletics communications or sports journalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of NCAA Genius and Presto Sports Statistical software, Adobe Creative Suite, BlueFrame Technology Video streaming platform, FloSports and graphic design capabilities.
