Collaborate with Director of Creative to conceptualize and produce visually impactful designs and content that are informative, entertaining, and memorable to recruits and constituents.
Manage all recruiting graphics.
Lead a team of graphic design student assistants and help maintain the standards for all graphical and social media content.
Create and oversee compelling social media strategy across multiple platforms, including live, in-game content.
Assist with recruiting photoshoots.
Skillfully use graphics animation software and produce GIFs.
Responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations of the University, Big 12 Conference, and NCAA.
Establish and maintain effective interactions with the students, colleagues, university community, alumni, media and the public.
The ideal candidates will have strong graphic design and creativity skills; solid understanding of recruiting needs and trends for collegiate football; proven project management and organizational skills; experience with photo editing, design elements used on various social media platforms and animation; ability to effectively plan, multi-task, meet deadlines; strong communication skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. This position requires the ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and may travel overnight with the team.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience creating graphic design content for high level sports.
Proficiency with digital multimedia editing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid experience in graphic design production and social media branding for a NCAA DI or professional football program.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Photography experience for creative media projects.
