POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Development, Nittany Lion Club, in supporting Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA), a member of the Big Ten Conference and one of the most comprehensive and successful athletic programs in the country. As a member of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR), you can play an integral role in Penn State’s future and contribute to one of the most successful fundraising and alumni relations operations in the country.
Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director of Annual Giving and working closely with, as well as other partners, this Assistant Director of Development will:
Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive annual fund solicitation strategies, including personal solicitations, cultivation, and stewardship of donors;
Articulate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, through excellent informal and formal communications;
Conduct over 190 in-person visits annually with Nittany Lion Club members or prospective members;
Actively build and develop a prospect pipeline of leadership annual fund donors. Serve as a positive member of the PSU community by participating in university and community activities;
Assist in marketing, event planning, programming, development, and strategic planning for the Nittany Lion Club;
Support all donor-related annual giving membership benefit fulfillment, most notably parking-related benefits;
Assist in coordinating Nittany Lion Club marketing, publications, social media, and online content;
Coordinate and develop strategies for increased Student Nittany Lion Club participation;
Support all capital campaigns, planned giving activities, and premium seating projects;
Provide excellent service to external constituents who support our student-athletes;
Maintain a culture of rules compliance and institutional control within Intercollegiate Athletics;
Contribute to the overall success of the PSU Athletics Department and the Nittany Lion Club by willingly performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $51,000.00 - $74,000.00.
