The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Director of Football Operations for Athletics. The Assistant Director of Football Operations performs a variety of day-to-day responsibilities in support of the Football Program. The position reports to the Head Football Coach and Director of Football Operations and is assigned by the Head Football Coach to perform duties within the football program’s operations department.

| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, and administrative experience.

| Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver’s license would be required for this position.

| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, follow up and follow through.
- Detail oriented and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality a must.
- Knowledge of the Big Ten Football Conference and NCAA rules and regulations, particularly in regard to recruiting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, Access & Internet Explorer.
