The Assistant Director of Football & Recruiting Operations will provide support to the Director of Football Operations with all team related activities. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to providing support towards the organization and management of team travel arrangements for each home, away and bowl game along with all designated travel itineraries, travel roster, hotel listings, menus, charter manifest and will travel as the liaison to each game site to ensure a smooth transition when the team and coaches arrive. Initiate and organize all pre-season training camp arrangements, postseason arrangements and manage the execution of all related year-round logistics; aid with the development, execution and daily administration of creative strategies for recruiting in collaboration with the Chief of Staff, the Director of Recruiting Operations and the Director of On-Campus Recruiting.
Will work in liaison with the Director of Recruiting Operations and assist with the management of all paperwork for incoming student-athletes, including admissions. Will manage coaching staffs’ travel and non-travel reimbursements. Organize and manage student-interns, student-athletes, student-athlete parents and alumni database and events for departmental needs; assist with Business Office, Compliance, Academic Support, Facility Management, Housekeeping and Maintenance oversight and perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a higher education athletics environment is required.
Football operations and/or football recruiting operations experience at a
NCAA
Division I football program required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written), be organized, detail oriented, display good judgment while operating in a flexible and professional manner.
Ability to team effectively with staff, students, and recruits.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines while working independently as well as collaboratively.
Ability to ensure that the office functions efficiently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access). Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Preferences:
5-8 years of experience in Football Bowl Subdivision (
FBS
), Football Championship Subdivision (
FCS
) or
NCAA
football.

While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and other office devices such telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc; Constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during and after events; constantly communicates via telephone, email and in- person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
