Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Football Performance reports to the Director of Football Performance and assists in all aspects of sports performance for football student-athletes.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Develops football strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes with review from the Director of Football Sports Performance.; 30%
  • Supervises and coordinates strength and conditioning programs for football as instructed by the Director of Football Sports Performance.; 30%
  • Responsible for strength testing and evaluation as assigned; 10%
  • Responsible for strength and conditioning programs which elicit safe and correct execution of exercise technique; 5%
  • Effectively communicates with athletic trainers and coaches on exercise protocol; 5%
  • Promotes the football sports performance program at Northwestern University at requested times including but not limited to the recruitment of prospective student-athletes; 5%
