Apply NowIowa State University Football is accepting applications for an entry-level position to serve as Assistant Director of Player Personnel. This position will help advance the recruiting efforts for the DI, FBS football program.
Candidates require an experienced understanding of the sport of football and the skills, techniques and talent used in evaluation. The position requires an excellent work ethic along with exceptional creativity, problem-solving and project management skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. Position will work many non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends and requires the ability to travel to overnight competitions.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience coaching or working in collegiate football recruiting operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with recruiting operations at an FBS Power 5 football program.
Experience working on the defensive side of the game (preferred in ISU scheme).
Experience playing college football on defense.
Comfort using PFF, QwikU, Catapult and Hudl recruiting software.
Experience recruiting Midwest regions.
