The Assistant Director of Player Personnel is responsible for assisting with the recruiting process within the Athletics Department Football program. This position takes a lead role in analyzing prospect video and recruiting student athletes to be a part of the intercollegiate athletics program. The Assistant Director of Player Personnel is also responsible for adhering to all departmental policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 years’ experience in college athletics may include time as a student athlete, graduate assistant or intern.

• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Must be insurable under the university motor vehicle requirements.

• Knowledge and experience using social media channels.
• Knowledge of appropriate computer software packages
• Skill in both spoken and written communication.
• Skill in making updates to digital and social media channels daily.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision under strict deadlines in a fact paced environment.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.

• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.
• The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
• Requires attendance at home and away games, events, contests and bowl games.
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to extreme.
