| Job Summary |
Eastern Washington University is seeking a Director of Sales. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations, the Director will support all areas of athletics development which includes Annual Giving, Eagle Athletic Fund (EAF), ticket sales and operations efforts for Eastern Washington University’s Department of Athletics. The Director will collaborate with the major giving and annual fund teams in Eastern Washington University Advancement and work with the Athletics ticketing office towards sales goals.
This highly motivated professional will develop annual strategies to drive campaigns to grow both participation and financial support within Eagle Athletic Fund and Athletic Ticket Operations units balancing philanthropic generosity from EWU alumni, donors, and fans with the critical revenue needs associated with annual scholarship and operational funding.
The successful candidate will make 50-100 outbound calls per week to solicit giving, ticket sales, and special event sales. Additionally, this position will provide support during Night of Champions, EWU Athletics’ annual fundraiser as well as EAF donor hospitality. He or she will develop an annual communication and solicitation calendar in collaboration with his/her university counterparts in annual giving. The position will ensure the gift acknowledgment process is timely, accurate and effective and evaluate/lead any enhancements to processes, objectives, and goals to improve reach and effectiveness.
Utilizing industry best practices, the successful candidate will constantly evaluate ways to ensure that EWU Athletics is positioned to provide student-athletes with the necessary resources to compete for championships.

The salary for this position is $45,000. In addition to salary, the university offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and disability insurance and retirement. DEVELOPMENT & REVENUE GENERATION
Advance Eagle Athletic Fund (EAF) participation and revenue through donor retention, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of benefactors to Eastern Washington University utilizing industry standard/leading initiatives.
Make, at a minimum, 50-100 outbound calls per week to solicit giving and ticket purchases with the focus on generating new revenue for the athletics department.
Attend, in an occupational capacity, various EWU Athletics competitions and events, including all home football and men’s basketball games, and maintain a professional presence at EWU Athletics’ most highly attended events.
Serve as liaison between the EWU Advancement and the EWU Athletic Department.
Maintain positive relationships with EWU donors and ticket holders.
