Collaborate with Coaching Staff: Work closely with sport-specific coaching staff and support teams to coordinate and integrate strength and conditioning goals with athletic training, nutrition, and mental development, fostering a holistic approach to student-athlete performance.
Supervise Interns and Volunteers: Educate, train, and manage student interns and volunteers in the strength and conditioning program, ensuring their development and adherence to best practices while maintaining a safe and efficient training environment.
Facility and Equipment Management: Assist in the management and upkeep of the strength and conditioning facilities, including regular maintenance of equipment, ensuring safety standards are met, and managing scheduling for team workouts and training sessions.
Support Department Operations: Collaborate with the Director of Speed, Strength & Conditioning in all aspects of department operations, including program development, administrative duties, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the athletic performance department.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree. Employee must maintain and provide proof of appropriate NSCA and/or CSCCa certification.
Preferred: Master’s Degree.
