Kansas City Athletics - Sports Peformance is seeking qualifed and enthusiastic applicants for an Assistant Director of Sports Performance position. The Assistant Director of Sports Performance is responsible for the management of the strength and conditioning of Kansas City Athletics Men’s Basketball program.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Working in a team-oriented environment, the position will work with other Strength and Conditioning staff, sport coaches, athletic trainers and other athletic department personnel to develop comprehensive strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs for student-athletes.
Some weekend and holiday work may be required based on specific sport seasons and team travel. The candidate will ensure compliance with NCAA, Summit League Conference, and University of Missouri-Kansas City regulations.
Position will be responsible for implementing strength and conditioning programs for Men’s Basketball, and potentially one other sport. This position will also communicate with their supervisor, sport coaches, and Sports Medicine Staff and assist with on-campus recruiting for assigned sports.
A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $55,000 - $75,000 annually
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
