Reporting to the Director of Strength and Conditioning, the Strength and Conditioning Coach will design and implement the strength and conditioning program for student-athletes.
Work Performed:Â
Programming directly for Menâs and/or Womenâs Basketball, Volleyball, and Tennis (Subject to change. Any changes will be communicated in the interview process). Â Assist the performance staff with daily administrative and maintenance duties, assist in the set-up and break-down of equipment for training and participation in weekly continuing education assignments.Â
Provide oversight, direction, and supervision of nutrition / fueling station including sanitation, budgeting, ordering, and inventory. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Some weekend and holiday work will be required based on specific sports seasons and team travel.Â

Education
Bachelor's Degree. NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCa-SCCC Certification (or equivalent).
Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of three years related work experience; demonstrated experience in administering a successful strength and conditioning program at the collegiate level; thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Â Must be proficient in the instruction, assessment, evaluation, and supervision of multiple weightlifting techniques, knowledge of use and maintenance of fitness equipment. Â It is important for candidates to have a positive mental attitude and the ability to communicate effectively and work well with students, parents, faculty, staff, and the community. Â Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Â Must be computer literate. Â Preferred experience providing nutritional counseling regarding fueling and supplements.
