Job Description

Stanford’s Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (“DAPER”) is the premier intercollegiate athletics program in the country. We are the proud Home of Champions! We lead the nation with 139 NCAA championship titles and a legacy of sustained excellence, including multiple Women’s Capital One Cup victories, and have brought home the Learfield Director’s Cup 26 times.  We support nearly 900 student-athletes who compete on 36 intercollegiate athletics teams and also support the university’s physical education, recreation and wellness initiatives.

Stanford Football is seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven communicator to join our recruiting operation. In this early-career, high-responsibility role, you’ll serve as a front-line recruiter, building strong relationships with prospective student-athletes and their families through consistent, high-quality communication that helps convert priority targets and strengthens Stanford’s position with top prospects.

This fixed-term onsite role will report to the Director of Recruiting Strategy + High School Personnel and work closely with position coaches, the Director of On-Campus Recruiting & Football Events, and Player Personnel staff.

Ideal candidate: Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the maturity to manage meaningful recruiting responsibilities independently while representing Stanford Football at a high level. Football or recruiting experience preferred; personnel/evaluation experience is a plus. If you thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and want to help shape the future of Stanford Football, we want to hear from you.
