The successful applicant will become an integral member of our Athletic Department and contributor to the student-athlete services unit. This position focuses on the wholistic approach to student-athlete services, and emphasizes the development of them personally, professionally, in leadership roles, community engagement and planning for life after collegiate sport.

May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
● Work with Assistant Athletic Director/Student-Athlete Development, academic advisors, coaches, SAAC, and support staff to create, oversee, evaluate and expand programs which promote and encourage student-athlete growth in academics, athletics, personal development, career planning and service in the community.
● Establish and maintain relationships and presence with Athletic Department units, university staff, faculty, administration and alumni.
● Assist in communication efforts regarding progress of the student- athlete development program to internal, external stakeholders and potential partners.
● Promote student-athletes' community service and leadership efforts through social media, newsletters and internal communication channels.

● Promote student-athletes' community service and leadership efforts through social media, newsletters and internal communication channels.
● Serve as a liaison to local organizations, schools, businesses and community partners.
● Assist coaches in the recruitment process of student-athletes by meeting prospective student-athletes and family members on campus visits.
● Work closely with coaches, academic advisors, Sport Performance /Health & Wellness staff to identify emerging leaders among student-athletes and provide tailored development opportunities.
● Partner with NIL(BroncoPRO), College of Business and Economics/Finance and other community partners to plan and delivery Financial Wellness programs and education

• Ability to develop and lead programs and plan events that engage student-athletes and the broader community.
• Knowledge of leadership development frameworks.
• Knowledge of community engagement best practices.
• Familiarity with digital platforms for program promotion and engagement (social media, newsletters, etc.).
• Understanding of Financial wellness foundations with regard to NIL.
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience.

Master’s degree in Leadership, Sports Management, Education, or related field.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in student-athlete development, community engagement, student services or a related area, ideally within a collegiate or professional sports setting.
• One (1) or more years of event management experience.
• Proficiency with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Salary is $49,750/yr. Boise State University provides a best-in-class benefits package , including (but not limited to):
