The University of Arizona Athletics Department invites applications for the position of Assistant Director, Ticket Sales. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, a self-starter and organized.

This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.

Makes diverse connections with donors, season ticket holders, and leads through phone calls, emails and in-person meetings
Meeting our minimum outreach number of 60 contacts per day
Plans outreach and strategy for group initiative for assigned sports (volleyball, women’s basketball, and softball)
Work game days to generate leads to grow database and sales revenue
Manages our student intern projects and call volumes
Attend meetings to collaborate with ticket operations, marketing and development to create revenue generation opportunities
Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge of department related NCAA and Conference rules and compliance
Ability to problem solve and make decisions
Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions

Bachelor’s degree
Three years direct sales experience (sports sales)
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends
Experience working in college athletics or sports marketing organization
Master’s Degree in Sports Administration or related field
Working knowledge of Paciolan and Salesforce CRM programs
Experience in department related NCAA and Pac-12 rules and compliance

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
