Bachelor’s Degree required.
Master’s Degree preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required, in accordance with the University’s Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.

This posting is intended to fill two (2) assistant coach vacancies. The open positions are outside linebackers (OLBs) and cornerbacks (CBs).
Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution
: Responsible for executing specific strategic activities and achieving outcomes within the assigned role for the football program, including sustained performance in the following areas:
Adherence to the Head Coach’s philosophy
Athletic instruction/coaching
Program operations and administration as designated by the Head Coach
Recruitment Strategy
: Contribute to the overall team recruitment strategy, including but not limited to:
Exercising independent judgment in recruiting prospective student-athletes
Attracting and evaluating prospective student-athletes
Planning and coordinating travel schedules and official visits
Developing and maintaining relationships with prospective student-athletes and other recruiting constituents
Student-Athlete Support and Management
: Support and manage student-athletes, ensuring sustained performance in the following areas:
Monitoring and supporting student-athlete welfare, academic progress, and development, including connecting them to department and campus resources
Encouraging student-athlete participation in department, campus, and community initiatives
Role modeling positive behaviors and leadership for student-athletes
Scouting and Competition Preparation
: Oversee all scouting, film preparation, and competition preparation, including:
Video breakdown using appropriate video-editing software
Coordination and oversight of the film exchange program per conference policies
Organizing team film sessions and developing scouting reports
Additional Responsibilities
:
Maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Manage student managers as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

) Compliance
: This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (
CSA
) in accordance with the federal statutory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Act. CSAs are responsible for reporting allegations of crimes received from students and employees to the Campus Safety Department.
