Assistant Football Coach Offensive Line

Job Description:

Thomas University is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Football Coach for the Offensive Line. The Assistant Football Coach assists the Head Coach with the daily operation of the football program in the NAIA and the recruitment of student-athletes. This is a full-time, 12-month. Bachelor’s Degree is a requirement.

Coaching

• Assist the Head Coach with daily practice planning, game decisions, and player feedback and evaluation.
• Perform video analysis and scouting of opponents.
• Assist and mentor student athletes with academic progress, course selection, campus involvement and social/community outreach, and other issues related to the college experience.

Recruiting

• Recruit quality student-athletes also with Military interest like Veterans, National Guard and Reserve both on campus and at various recruiting events throughout the year.

• Manage recruiting databases.
• Schedule recruit visits.
• Attend recruiting events and evaluate prospective student-athletes.

Administrative

• Assist the Head Coach with coordinating and managing game day operations and administrative tasks.
• Plan team travel and meals.
• Participate in department meetings.
• Provide service to the Institution as assigned by the Director of Athletics or the Head Coach.
• Adhere to NAIA, conference, departmental, and university policies, procedures, and expectations.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.
