Job Description:

Amherst College invites applications for the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Squash Coach position. The Assistant Men’s and Women’s Squash Coach is a full-time, 12-month position. The expected salary range for this job opportunity is: $39,000 - $42,000 annually.

The salary offered will vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to relevant education, training, and experience, tenure status, and other nondiscriminatory business considerations. The Assistant Men’s and Women’s Squash Coach reports to the Head Coach and supports all phases of the Squash Program. Responsibilities include assisting with practice planning and coaching, contributing to recruiting efforts, and fulfilling day-to-day operational needs of the program. The role supports a diverse student body and participates in the College’s commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Evening, weekend, and occasional travel to meets and competitions are required.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Coaching

● Assist with the instruction of student-athletes in technical skills, strategy, and overall performance development.

● Support pre-season, in-season, and post-season training sessions, including practice preparation and coaching.
