Description

Responsible for assisting with the management of an NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs; assists with conditioning, practices, recruiting, and travel arrangements

Examples of Duties

| Assist in executing a successful program that would include duties such as: conducting regular team and individual practice sessions; coaching the student athletes, evaluating athletes’ performance in practice and competition; monitoring the conditioning and training of student athletes,

| Arranges and conducts recruiting functions including off- and on-campus visits, evaluations and contacts of prospective student-athletes.

| Ensures that necessary athletic equipment and gear is available and in proper condition for scheduled practices and competition and makes recommendations for repairs or replacement, as necessary.

| Performs administrative tasks such as maintaining statistics. Attends coaches’ preparatory meetings and implements strategies resulting from these meetings.
