Job Description

General Summary:
Responsible in assisting administratively with camps, scouting and recruitment of student athletes, On-floor coaching during games and practices, Monitor the academic progress and eligibility status of student athletes. Maintains equipment, participates in funding raising and public relations activities and with special projects as assigned by the Head Coach.
Responsibilities:
• Off-campus recruitment of student athletes; travel; telephone prospects; completion of NCAA-required forms.
• Maintains equipment, fund raising, public relation activities, special assigned projects.
• On-floor coaching during games and practices; practice set-up & preparation; clinics and special projects.
• Run camps
• Academic progress monitoring; advising; study hall scheduling.

Necessary Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior NCAA DII basketball playing or coaching experience.
• Ability to pass NCAA Recruiting test annually is required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree
• Prior success as a basketball coach
