About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Men's Basketball Coach to join our team in the Educational Services industry. As an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, practice planning, game preparation, and player development. You will work closely with student-athletes to ensure their academic and athletic success while upholding the values and mission of our institution.

Skills:

As an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with student-athletes, coaches, and staff. You will also use your knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategies to develop and implement effective practice plans and game strategies. In addition, you will use your organizational and time management skills to balance the demands of coaching with the academic and personal needs of student-athletes. Finally, you will use your creativity and problem-solving skills to address challenges and opportunities throughout the season.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, practice planning, game preparation, and player development. Provide individual and group instruction to student-athletes on the fundamentals of basketball. Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes and provide support as needed. Assist with the planning and execution of team travel. Maintain a positive and professional image for the program and the institution.
