Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assists the Head Men’s Basketball Coach with practice planning and scheduling
Works in conjunction with the Head Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics to create a competitive schedule.
Assists in planning of team meetings, study sessions, and required events.
Works with Head Men’s Basketball coach and Director of Athletics on an effective social media and marketing plan.
Creates opportunities for the team to gain a visible presence in the Fairmont/Marion Co. community and surrounding counties.
Recruits student-athletes to compete at the Division II level.
Monitors academic progress of student-athletes.
Adheres to and ensures compliance with all University, Conference and
NCAA
rules, regulations and policies.
Takes an active role in private giving to generate supplemental revenue for the program.
Assists with player development and game day scouting, organization, and in-game assignments prescribed by the Head Coach.
Other duties as assigned.
