Salary/Grade: EXS/32

Target hiring range for this position will be between $250,000-$350,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach reports to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and assists the Head Coach in the coaching and training of the Men’s Basketball Team.This position is a full-time appointment, renewable on a contract basis, May 1 through April 30.

*Willingness and ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Specific Responsibilities :

Coaching

  • Assist the head coach in the coaching and training of the Northwestern Men’s Basketball team; developing and conducting all in-season and out-of-season sessions throughout the year as deemed necessary and appropriate.
  • Aid in the psychological preparation of team in both pre-game and post-game; and for developing motivational approach to practice and games.
