Position Summary Information

| Position Summary |
The Assistant Men’s Golf Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Men’s Golf Coach with coaching responsibilities .

Temporary position 20-30 hours per week.
| | Primary Duties and Responsibilities |
- Assists in: Coaching, organizing, and conducting practices for the Men’s Golf Team - Assists in: Driving student athletes to team activities and/or athletic activities. - Performs other job related duties as assigned.

| | Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Ability to effectively coach a collegiate golf team. - Ability to drive student athletes or recruits to team activities and/or athletic events. - Ability to interact with the public and work well with people. - Ability to promote golf and encourage participation in the sport. - Ability to understand and teach the game of golf. - Ability to assist in running golf tournaments.

| | Physical Requirements | | | Required Minimum Qualifications |
- Must have knowledge of the USGA Rules of Golf. LPGA, PGA, and/or TPI certification is recommended. Must have at least one of the following: professional teaching experience, collegiate coaching experience, experience teaching the game of golf, or playing experience at the collegiate level or beyond.  - Bachelor’s degree preferred
