Position Summary

Assists with coaching, teaching, instructing, planning and recruiting for the women’s and men’s swim program.

Essential Functions

Coaches, teaches, and instructs individual skill development to student-athletes.

Assists in the recruiting of quality student-athletes within the University, Atlantic 10 and

NCAA

policies.

Attends all practices, home and away meets.

Assists the head coach with the administrative operations of the swim program as needed.

Fully complies with all University policies and procedures,

NCAA

, and Atlantic 10 rules and regulations.

Attends fund raising events upon request to support the program.

Promotes program through social media.

Assists the head coach in aquatics/lifeguard supervision.

Performs ther duties as assigned.

Additional Functions

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 2-4 years coaching experience.

Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills

Strong interpersonal, organizational and written/oral communication skills.

Understanding and knowledge of

NCAA

rules and regulations.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs, and proficient in social media.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Starting Salary

$46,500

Maximum Starting Salary

$51,500
