Seton Hill University seeks candidates for the full-time position of Assistant Softball Coach.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in the organization, management and coaching of a nationally competitive Division II softball program
- Assist in all areas of the recruiting efforts for the program
- Lead the identification and recruitment of local and regional prospective student athletes
- Assist in coordination of all on and off campus recruiting events and visits
- Oversee and manage the daily development of all pitchers in the program and assist in other technical areas (hitting, defense, baserunning, and game strategy) as needed
- Manage, develop, and maintain social media presence
- Manage ARMS compliance software and weekly CARA logs
- Assist with team travel coordination to include meals, hotels and transportation
- Assist with facility upkeep and maintenance

- Support and model the core values of the program while mentoring student athletes
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- Collegiate or professional playing experience
- Experience working with collegiate catchers and hitters are preferred
