Job Summary

Work under the direction of the head softball coach and assist with the administration of a successful Division I softball program. Responsibilities include player development, recruiting, academic monitoring, administrative support. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

All areas of directing, monitoring, and improving players athletic skills.

Assist the head coach with on-the-field coaching of student-athletes during practices, individual skill training, and games.

Will be in charge of academic progress and assisting with recruiting.

Other duties as assigned to include administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience coaching/playing softball or baseball at the

NCAA

Division 1 level and higher or the equivalent experience.

Must be knowledgeable of and assure compliance with all applicable

NCAA

, Western Athletic Conference and University regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree.

Four plus (4+) years of experience coaching softball at the

NCAA

D1 level and higher.
