Position Description

Ole Miss Athletics strives to advance a championship culture that develops, educates and empowers our student-athletes while providing a premier experience for the Ole Miss family.

The University of Mississippi is conducting a search for an Assistant Softball coach. The incumbent will assist in all areas to include planning and organizing practices and competitions, recruiting, compliance, promotion, administration, and development of student-athletes in a Division I program.

Position Details

Assists head coach in providing coaching and administrative duties to support the NCAA Division I Softball program including:
• Assists in coordinating day to day practice preparation and instruct student-athletes on these systems and concepts.
• Evaluate student-athletes to identify strengths and deficiencies.
• Provide individual skill instruction, supervision, and motivation to student-athletes.
• Assists in preparing and coordinating annual, seasonal, monthly, weekly, and day to day practice planning and design.
