The Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning aids in the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for the Department of Athletics and its student-athletes.
*Successful admission to the graduate program of the University; *Maintenance of satisfactory progress toward a graduate degree; *Letter of assignment as a graduate assistant signed by the President of the University.
*CSCS certification; *At least one year experience in a collegiate weight room.

Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;

| Job Duty |
Develop, implement and supervise the strength and conditioning programs for each sport program at the University;
|
| Job Duty |
Participate in efforts to collect, analyze and report data for the athletic department in the University s planning, assessment, and evaluation processes for institutional effectiveness;
|

Assist in the production of outcomes-assessment and long range planning for the athletic department;
|

Design and implement strength, agility, speed, flexibility and conditioning programs for assigned teams and student-athletes;

Supervise workout sessions for each team;

Supervise any weight room workers, including graduate assistants and interns;

Assist athletic training in injury prevention and rehabilitation;

Instruct proper exercise technique for strength and conditioning;

Make recommendations for the purchase of new equipment;
|

Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and room;
|
| Job Duty |
Coordinate with strength and conditioning staff to ensure the program instruction and design methodologies for sports are consistent across the department;

Adhere to all NCAA and South Atlantic Conference rules;

Complete all required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports as necessary for the operation and advancement of the University;
|

Teach up to 6 credit hours of appropriate University and/or JFWA courses, the equivalent thereof;
|

Other assignments and duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
