Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach- (Part-time)

irginia Military Institute Athletics, an NCAA Division I member and member of the America East Conference is seeking an Assistant Swimming Coach.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist in organizing and directing all phases of the Swimming Program .
• Recruit and evaluate potential student-athletes. ,,
• Coordinate team travel arrangements.
• Design and implement training programs focused on athlete development, injury prevention, and performance enhancement
• Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic department, and VMI administration to support student-athlete academic progress and personal development.
• Perform administrative duties and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Ensure compliance with VMI, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree as well as coaching experience.

• Must posses a valid drivers license
• Demonstrated success in training, mentoring, and developing student-athletes
• Proven track record in recruiting and retaining quality student-athletes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with staff and administrators
