The Assistant Volleyball Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including coaching, recruiting, player development, scouting, and operations. This role helps ensure team success by fostering student-athlete growth, coordinating program logistics, and maintaining compliance with
NCAA
, conference, and university policies.
Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing training sessions, practices, and game strategies to enhance individual and team performance.
Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes who align with the program’s competitive and academic standards.
Support student-athletes in their academic, athletic, and personal development, ensuring compliance with
NCAA
and university requirements.
Analyze game film and scouting reports to prepare strategic recommendations for upcoming competitions.
Assist in coordinating team travel, equipment management, and other program operations.
Lead or assist in organizing camps and clinics.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of experience coaching volleyball; or combination of
NCAA
Division I Women’s Volleyball playing and/or coaching experience.
Four (4 ) years of experience coaching volleyball at the collegiate level. .
Must be able to work collaboratively in a group environment and maintain professional decorum as a representative of the University.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledgeable of and assure compliance with all applicable
NCAA
, Conference and University regulations, policies, and procedures.
Work in various indoor and outdoor environments
