Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Player Development:

• Assist in practice planning and lead court coaching sessions.
• Run position-specific training and focus on skill development of student-athletes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to enhance team performance and individual growth.

Recruiting & Scouting:

• Identify and recruit top talent nationally and internationally to strengthen the program.
• Conduct player evaluations, analyze game footage, and contribute to strategic scouting reports.
• Build strong relationships with prospective student-athletes, families, and club/high school coaches.

Program & Administrative Support:

• Ensure compliance with University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with the head coach on program logistics and team operations.
• Represent the University of Evansville at recruiting events and networking opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience: College and/or professional playing or coaching experience preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with coaches, student-athletes, faculty, staff, and the public.
• Recruiting & Scouting Ability: Experience in evaluating talent, networking, and recruiting internationally is a plus.
• Foreign Language Skills: Preferred, but not required.
• Certifications: Must possess or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Work Schedule & Travel

• Nights and weekends required for games, practices, and recruiting.
• Travel is required for recruiting and competition.
