The Assistant Women’s Volleyball coach will serve in all phases of a competitive women’s volleyball program. The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach will be expected to work cooperatively with all constituencies and campus units.
May include, but not limited to: Assist the head volleyball coach in managing and directing the Rocky Mountain College volleyball program. Assist the head volleyball coach with all aspects of the team including teaching, training, competing and scheduling. Organize and maintain accurate inventory of volleyball equipment and uniforms. Coordinate travel arrangements and facility needs. Coordinate scouting and video exchange. Coordinate facility needs of visiting teams. Organize and complete all required paperwork. Assist the administration with alumni relations and scholarship fundraising. Commit to and is responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations set forth for the team. Assist with recruiting including calling prospective student-athletes, evaluating high school and junior college players. Promoting traits of personal integrity, sportsmanship and overall well-being while fostering and building a supportive and competitive team culture. Commit to and be responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations set forth for the team.

Ability to recruit, coach and teach highly talented student-athletes.
Ability to scout opponents and break down game video.
A proven record in following directives and being responsible for tasks, which have been assigned.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as needed.
Ability to apply budgeting and fiscal planning techniques within financial constraints.
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Ability to communicate effectively – orally, by phone, in person, via social media and in writing.
Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
Demonstrate the ability to market and promote Rocky’s women’s volleyball.
Follow the Mission of the College.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the College, the Frontier Conference, and the NAIA
Salary: $15,000.00
