Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach with daily team operations and practice planning.
• Coach and develop student-athletes on skills, strategy, and fitness.
• Support recruitment efforts by identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes.
• Assist in game preparation, strategy development, and on-court coaching during games.
• Maintain knowledge of current volleyball techniques, trends, and NCAA rules.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to players, promoting academic and athletic excellence.
• Assist in the development of strength and conditioning programs.
• Attend team meetings and collaborate with the coaching staff.
• Ensure adherence to NCAA and university policies and regulations.
• Assist with administrative duties related to the volleyball program as needed.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred, but not required).
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A commitment to promoting the values of student-athletes both on and off the court.

Required Experience

• Previous experience coaching or playing at the collegiate level or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong understanding of volleyball techniques, rules, and game strategies.
