Virginia Military Institute Athletics, an NCAA Division I member and member of the MAAC is seeking an Assistant Water Polo Coach.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist in organizing and directing all phases of the Water Polo Program.
• Recruit and evaluate potential student-athletes.
• Coordinate team travel arrangements.
• Design and implement training programs focused on athlete development, injury prevention, and performance enhancement
• Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic department, and VMI administration to support student­ athlete academic progress and personal development

Assistant Water Polo Coach

Virginia Military Institute Athletics, an NCAA Division I member and member of the MAAC is seeking an Assistant Water Polo Coach.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist in organizing and directing all phases of the Water Polo Program.
• Recruit and evaluate potential student-athletes.

• Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic department, and VMI administration to support student­ athlete academic progress and personal development

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree as well as coaching experience.
• Must posses a valid drivers license
• Demonstrated success in training, mentoring, and developing student-athletes
• Proven track record in recruiting and retaining quality student-athletes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with staff and administrators

Additional Considerations:

Some (generally two (2)+ years) of College coaching experience
