| Job Summary |
* Eastern Washington University is currently seeking an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.
This position is housed in the athletic department and will report to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and ultimately the Athletics Director or sport supervisor. It is the responsibility of the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach to work closely with the head coach to design, organize, implement, facilitate, oversee and evaluate all facets of a Big Sky, NCAA Division I assigned sport program. A successful candidate will also assist in the direction, development and management of all aspects of the women’s basketball program including, but not limited to, recruiting, talent evaluation, conducting training and development of student athletes within the team concept, organizing and assisting with team travel, budget supervision, supervision of additional staff, monitoring academic progress of the team, and organization/direction of summer camps.

The salary for this position is $48,000 (minimum) up to $60,000. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. | Required Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Two (2) years of collegiate playing and/or two (2) years of coaching and recruiting experience at the intercollegiate level or commensurate experience
- Experience with Basketball Player Development
- Social media and creative content experience
- Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days of employment
- Must be able to pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test for off-campus recruiting within 30 days of employment and annually thereafter
- Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability, and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility, and/or diversity
