Assistant Women's Basketball Coach / Recruiting Coordinator
This is a full-time position responsible for assisting the head coach with all phases of the women’s basketball program in a manner compatible with department and University philosophies.
Assist the head coach in the following primary responsibilities:
Recruitment of prospective student athletes.
Coaching, mentoring, and retaining student athletes.

Assist the head coach in the following primary responsibilities:
Recruitment of prospective student athletes.
Coaching, mentoring, and retaining student athletes.
In-season practice and game planning; out of season conditioning.
Compliance with
NCAA
Division II,
GLVC
, and University rules and regulations.
Team travel arrangements.
Filming/game tape exchange.
Additional secondary responsibilities may include:
Grant-in-aid recommendations.
Academic integrity.
Alumni, community, and media relations; fundraising; camps.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge and basic proficiency using Word, Excel, and Google Applications.
Collegiate basketball playing and/or coaching experience.
Must be able to travel for competition and recruiting with most travel occurring evenings and weekends.
Master’s degree.
Coaching/recruiting experience in women’s basketball.
Knowledge of and commitment to
NCAA
rules.
Experience using Photoshop, Synergy, and FastModel products.

| Salary | The starting salary range for this position is $42,000 to $45,000 annually commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
