Chicago State University (CSU), is the oldest public university in the Chicago metropolitan area. The Head Coach, Women’s Golf is responsible for planning, developing and managing the operations of a Division I women’s Golf program within Chicago State University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Provide leadership, direction, and overall administration for the development, coordination, and implementation of programs, activities, and professional services.
Formulate, initiate, implement, and interpret policies relating to the operation of the units.
Establish goals and objectives for the department/unit.
Direct the staffing by overseeing recruitment, training, and management of work assigned to professional and support staff.
Oversee financial aspects of unit management, including control of the budget and allocation of resources.
Interface with advisory committees, serve on campus or University committees, communicate and consult with other offices or campus officials when appropriate.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree, plus three years of collegiate or professional coaching experience.
Masters degree and Division I coaching experience are preferred qualifications.

As a staff member within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, the person assuming this position is responsible for knowledge of and compliance with institutional, conference and NCAA rules, both those general in nature and those which apply specifically to their job responsibilities. Knowledge of and compliance with NCAA rules is a condition of employment in this position.
