Job Summary

Performs a variety of administrative functions. Performs recruitment of new student-athletes to the University and team to support and develop the athletic program. Assists with all aspects of the soccer program. Promotes student-athlete success by providing support to encourage a focus on academics, leadership development, and personal development for the Women's Soccer student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Promotes, monitors, and assesses student athletes' academic success.
• Assists with coaching and teaching the players at both practices and matches to enhance student-athletes' performance both on and off the field.
• Identifies and recruits student-athletes who are athletically and academically prepared for an athletic program at ASU.
• Performs administrative functions to support the day-to-day operation of the program.
• Engages with the student-athletes about school and ensures they adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
• Assists Head Coach with preparing for the upcoming season.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree i

1 year of experience coaching or in athletic programs

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of experience coaching athletic programs.

Ability to recruit prospective student-athletes
Ability to organize and manage scholarship information
Ability to assist student-athletes with their academic support needs

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Knowledge of University athletic rules and regulations
Knowledge of soccer rules and regulations

SKILLS
Skilled in public speaking
Skilled in interpersonal relationships
Skilled in working as part of a team
