Job Description

This position reports to the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach, and is responsible for assisting in all aspects of coaching (pole vault and multi), planning, directing and developing sport and position specific skills of student-athletes in the sport program, including:

· Assist in the instruction, management and teaching of student-athletes.

· Assist in the development and execution of meet/practice plans, coaching strategies and teaching methods.

· Assist coaching staff members with recruiting and administrative responsibilities.

· Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Minimum Qualifications

A job offer is contingent on acceptance into the Coaching Education (campus-based) graduate program with the College of Education at Ohio University. Track & Field background as a coach or student-athlete at the collegiate level.
