General Summary of Position:
Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance/NIL Integration will oversee a comprehensive Division I compliance program and fully integrate the NIL process with internal and external stakeholders. This position will be a member of the Athletics Leadership Team
Essential Job Duties:
Lead and implement all operational aspects of a comprehensive NCAA Division I compliance program, while integrating NIL into the overall athletics framework.
Certify institutional compliance with all NCAA, America East and Hockey East rules and regulations; develop and maintain a rules education program for student-athletes, coaches, university staff and boosters with particular attention to recruiting, eligibility requirements, NIL, and playing & practice legislation.
Interact with key campus offices; the Admissions Office, Financial Aid Office, Registrar’s Office, Bookstore, Institutional Research as the athletic department’s liaison for NCAA research, documents and decision making.
Serve as member of the department’s Leadership Team, with additional responsibility of becoming a sport administrator.
Conduct appropriate rules education programs for all parties associated with the athletics department; focusing on all opting in protocols and guidelines with the new Division I landscape.
Additional responsibilities related to social media, technology and department website and software.
Promote the University’s commitment to customer service by:
• Build effective partnerships with co-workers throughout the University by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance when needed.
