The Colorado State University Department of Athletics sponsors 16 men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports and competes as a member of NCAA Division I (FBS). The University is a current member of the Mountain West Conference and future member of the Pac-12 Conference. The University is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, 65 miles north of Denver. The Associate Athletic Director for Brand and Marketing Communications is responsible for developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and revenue generation strategies and tactics through communication and content creation and distribution, advertising campaigns, database marketing, email marketing, social media and promotional initiatives for the department. Position is also tasked with increasing awareness that translates into brand enhancement, additional revenue, and attendance while also supporting NIL and new revenue opportunities.

- Work collaboratively with the institution’s President’s Office, MarComm, Alumni, Advancement, and other internal and external constituents
- Provide supervision over content units (Strategic Communications, Creative Video, Digital Media, and Graphic Design) and establish unit priorities, asset management/development, integration, and media partnerships; provide consistent performance feedback for individual staff growth and development
- Provide consistent performance feedback for individual staff growth and development and identify professional development opportunities on campus and in locale for staff members
- Assess priorities and responsibilities with content teams to define strategies and execute department content, communications, outreach, and storytelling to advance engagement and revenue generation

- Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with departmental, University, conference and NCAA procedures, rules and regulations
- Promptly report any knowledge of NCAA or conference rules violations
- Be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays and travel with teams as required
