| Preferred Qualifications |
Master’s degree preferred. NATA certification and be eligible for Georgia athletic training licensure. Minimum of two years of related experience in intercollegiate sports medicine program. Knowledge of NCAA and SEC regulations desired.

| Position Summary |
Supervise and coordinate athletic training services for student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletic programs for the University of Georgia Athletic Department, working under the medical direction of team physicians and in conjunction with referring physicians, other ancillary medical professionals, and UGAA staff (athletic administration, athletic coaching, athletic training, academics, strength and conditioning, sports nutrition, counseling/sports psychology) Must adhere to NCAA, SEC and institutional rules and regulations.

- Applied Knowledge: five practice domains of athletic training as well as a wide range of medical concerns.
- Interpersonal Skills: effective communication in both day-to-day tasks as well as high stress circumstances with student-athletes, parents / guardians, coaches, as well as colleagues.
- Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision-Making Skills: appropriate conclusions / outcomes, particularly as it pertains to healthcare of the student-athlete.
- Attention to Detail: thorough and organized, particularly with preparation and documentation.
- Time Management Skills: prioritize and perform multiple tasks with little or no supervision.
