The Associate Athletic Trainer will work under the medical supervision of the head team physician and is responsible for the day-to-day athletic training services for Football, to include prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes; pre-participation physicals; inventory management of supplies and equipment; maintaining medical records; completing required insurance claims; daily interaction and communication with coaching staff, athletic trainers, and administration; attending team practices and events; supervising assistant athletic trainers and students; and injury prevention programming. Assist the Senior Associate Athletic Trainer for Football. Acts as

(Jones Hill House) facility manager, including oversight of the pools, ordering and managing pool chemicals, daily checks and scheduling repairs and annual maintenance. Ordering and inventory of
JHH
medical supplies.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Education:
Master’s degree from an accredited athletic training educational program degree or related field.
Current National Board of Certification (
BOC
) for Athletic Trainers,
CPR
and
AED
Certification for healthcare workers by an accredited organization, Current or eligible State of Maryland Athletic Trainer Licensure. Possess a valid driver’s license.
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience and Three (3) years with division 1 football or pro level football. One (1) year of supervisory experience. Directly responsible for the performance of assigned staff.
Experience providing health care services for college or professional athletes.
Certified pool operator.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong communication, organizational, administrative, and teamwork skills.

Lacrosse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duty/Responsibility (1):
