Associate Coach, Women's Soccer
The Associate Coach, Women’s Soccer will support the Head Coach for Women’s Soccer in overseeing all aspects of the women’s soccer program in accordance with NCAA, American Athletic Conference and University rules and regulations. Specific responsibilities include: assisting the Head Coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, trainings, and competitions; serving as a positive role model for student-athletes; assisting the Head Coach, as directed, in the recruitment of student-athletes in accordance with NCAA rules and University standards; assisting, as appropriate, in planning and arranging team travel; may coordinate personnel and equipment transportation and accommodations; establishing a productive, well-rounded environment which stresses the importance of academics in conjunction with athletics
• Establish a professional relationship with students, staff, alumni and the general public in an effort to promote the University and its Athletics program; working closely with Athletic training, Academics, and Strength and Conditioning to monitor the progress of student-athletes; supporting the student-athlete concept and demonstrates concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete; working cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel; and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach of Women’s Soccer
Master’s Degree; collegiate coaching experience (preferably at the Division I level); collegiate playing experience
