We are searching for an Associate Director of Athletic Training to be assigned to Varsity programs within the DAPER athletic training department. Reporting to the Director of Athletic Training, you will provide athletic training services to Stanford University student-athletes and supervise other athletic training staff. You will communicate regularly with team physicians, coaches, administrators, parents, and support staff responsible for the health, well-being, and performance of our student-athletes. This position is based on the Stanford main campus.

Your responsibilities include :

  • Leadership, Management, Administration, and Education :

    • Under the direction of the Director of Athletic Training, lead the daily operation of the athletic training facilities including the management of athletic training staff and coordination of medical services.
    • Sit on the leadership team and contribute to high-level discussions, offering informed insights and strategic viewpoints on the program's direction and goals.
    • Participate in the hiring, training, and development of athletic training staff, including Advanced Post-Graduate Athletic Trainers, and graduate and undergraduate student interns. Identify and implement opportunities for further professional development and education.
