Job Summary

The Associate Director of Athletics for Business Operations position is responsible for the following:

o Responsible for all aspects of budget management ( budget build, reports, tracking, maintenance) to include scholarship, operations, salaries, revenues, and foundation

o Responsible for building the annual athletic budget

o Responsible for revenue managing and tracking annual budget expenses.

o Responsible for tracking annual revenue ( game guarantees, ticket sales,

NCAA

CFP

, concession, etc)

o Produce budget forecasting and revenues with focus on new ways to grow and increase revenues and decrease costs/ expenses

o Point of contact for foundation revenues and foundation expenses

o Assist with head coaching contracts

o Supply monthly housing list to financial aid

o Execute and manage supplemental pays

o Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (

EADA

),

NCAA

Financial Audit,

o Conduit between Bookstore, auxiliary offices, and athletics

o Administer the

NCAA

Special Assistance Fund, including all institutional and conference reports.

o Develop 26 annual operating budgets

o Point of contact for university procurement, University Business and University Foundation

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field

2. Minimum of five years of experience working in university business office, accounting, procurement, and/or athletic business office

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master’s degree

Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?

Driving is a primary responsibility
