Job Summary

The ETSU College of Athletics – Intercollegiate Athletics Ticketing invites applications for a full-time Associate Director of Business Operations.

The Associate Director provides administrative support to the Director of Business Operations and other departmental staff. This role:

• Facilitates daily business office functions including: processing purchase requisitions, travel authorizations and claims, check requests, and vendor invoices.
• Serves as a point of contact for inquiries related to payments from internal staff and external vendors.
• Manages and reconciles annual ProCard transactions in accordance with university policies.
• Assists with the preparation and processing of departmental contracts and updates team and departmental budgets as needed.
• Performs additional administrative and financial duties as assigned to support overall departmental operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of fund accounting.
• Knowledge of the procurement process.
• Knowledge of athletic scholarships.
• Strong knowledge of Excel financial, logical, and statistical functions.
• Effective communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One (1) year of full-time experience or two (2) years of part-time experience required;
• Demonstrated work experience in Word, Excel, and Access software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree.
• Work experience with Enterprise Resource Planning or comparable software applications.
• Experience with Oracle Voyager Business Platform
