Position Brief
The Associate Director of Development (located in Atlanta, Georgia) is responsible for identifying,
qualifying, cultivating, and securing commitments in support of various gift programs, including Annual,
Endowment, Facility, Coaches Clubs, and Planned Giving. This role also provides donor stewardship
support and manages specific Seminole Boosters fundraising programs as assigned.

Position Brief
The Associate Director of Development (located in Atlanta, Georgia) is responsible for identifying,
qualifying, cultivating, and securing commitments in support of various gift programs, including Annual,
Endowment, Facility, Coaches Clubs, and Planned Giving. This role also provides donor stewardship
support and manages specific Seminole Boosters fundraising programs as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
• Donor Management
o Oversee members at a certain level by regional assignment, aiming to increase revenue
support for all giving pathways (annual giving, major gifts, sport specific, estate giving &
real estate gifts) to grow the overall donor base
o Maintain ongoing personal relationships with all assigned donors
o Support the collection of payment towards previous donor commitments
• Market Growth
Identify, cultivate, and acquire new annual giving members
o
o Develop donor prospect lists for assigned territories
o Organize work plans to secure gifts from donor prospects
o Qualify donor prospects for size and type of potential gifts
o Make development calls on qualified prospects
• Scheduling & Logistics
o Organize and manage appointment and travel schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and
resources
o Manage expenses within defined organizational guidelines
o Host donor prospects at various sporting, social, or entertainment events
Credentials and Experience
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in Sport Management, Business Administration, or Marketing
or a related field
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in development or sales in college athletics
• Experience in cold calling and scheduling/leading face-to-face meetings
• Strong social, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to work events and games, including some nights and weekends
• Commitment to travel to assigned regional territories & occasional away games
• Demonstrated motivation, adaptability, and resourcefulness
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Paciolan Ticketing or similar systems, preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficient in fundraising, ticket sales and retention techniques
• Knowledgeable about college athletics and athletic operations
• Skilled in developing and maintaining personal relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and meet objectives with minimal
supervision
